Due to covid concerns, we are not doing 911 addresses in person. If you need an address done, call 662-412-5000 with your information.
If you are moving from one residence to another or are just moving into our county for the first time, the first thing you should do is register at the 911 office. Your 911 address will be needed for Water, Power, Mail, Cable, Internet, Sewage, Garbage, School etc. The process is fairly simple and mostly takes about 5 minutes or less once you arrive unless it is a new structure.
Things you will need for your 911 address:
- If you do not own the property you will need a form filled out by the person who does own the property called a "proof of residency form". The proof of residency form MUST be COMPLETELY filled out. The only optional field is Parcel ID. You will also need picture ID
- If you own the property and have owned it for more than a year you will only need your picture ID
- If you have purchased the property and have owned it for less than a year you will need a copy of the deed.
